La stagione dei premi entra sempre più nel vivo: dopo i Golden Globes, nella notte di lunedì 16 gennaio 2023 sono andati in scena i Critics Choice Awards, i riconoscimenti assegnati ogni anno dalla critica statunitense ai migliori film e serie tv dell’anno.
A trionfare è stato Everything Everywhere All at Once: il film dei The Daniels (distribuito in Italia da I Wonder Pictures) guardava tutti dall’alto con 14 nomination ed è riuscito a portarsene a casa 5, tra cui i premi come Miglior Film, Registi e Attore non Protagonista. C’è stata poi gloria anche per Brendan Fraser, in lacrime nel suo discorso post-vittoria, e per Cate Blanchett e il suo Tár.
