Sono state annunciate le nomination alla 49° edizione dei Cesar Awards, gli “Oscar” della cinematografia francese che si terranno la sera del 23 febbraio 2024 all’Olympia di Parigi. A guidare le candidature è il supernatural drama di Thomas Cailley, The Animal Kingdom, presentato nella sezione Un Certain Regard dell’ultimo Festival di Cannes.
Tredici nomination per lui, due in più rispetto al vincitore dell’ultima kermesse francese ovvero Anatomia di una caduta di Justine Triet, film che solo ieri ha conquistato cinque candidature anche agli Oscar 2024. A rappresentare l’Italia c’è Marco Bellocchio: Rapito è il film scelto per la sezione Miglior film straniero, dove dovrà però vedersela con Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan, Fallen Leaves di Aki Kaursmaki e Perfect Days di Wim Wenders.
